Manual hubs won't staying locked in?

Just picked up a gq took it out in the mud and the left wheel wont stay locked in, when i turn it from free to lock its very easy to turn and after a little bit of driving it swings back around to free or half way. Is there a remedy for this? cheers

Mine did that once and it ended up being the small roller bearing that supports the cv stub in the outer axel tube was broken allowing the cv stub to move around and interfear with the hub.
