I just bought this car from the original owner, an 85 year old diesel fitter from Goulburn. Its done 411,000km including 19 trip to Perth ?!?! All the maintenance has been done to it over the years and it seems to be running well.

Does anyone know how far one of these can go before getting a rebuild?

It should run for a million kms before the rebuilt if it is given the required TLC.

Regular oil and filter change every 5000k and she'll be good for many many more happy k's mate

Their are a few things that will help it egr block off catch can injector service and cooling system check and of course check and re apply loctite on the balancer bolt.

Very nice Bus mate. I had to rebuild my 95 model @ 345xxx kms. Only because the water pump failed and I cooked it. But as the others have said, if you keep up the preventative maintainence, you should get plenty more km's out of the old girl!
