Well i have an auber instruments egt gauge wich has an adjustable temp warning circuit built in.
I intend to set this up to one of the unused warning lamps in the cluster.
What i am looking for is letter stencil or grey stickers for the letters egt the right size.
Has anyone seen anything about.

When i get it done i will post up a how too here as well .

A sign writer might be able to do something

Going to go checkout the local hobby shop today seen a lot of small lettering on rc cars and alike figure it is worth a try.
If they don't have anything i'll give the signwriters a try.

Try the New agent or Office Works for Rub on stencil lettering for projects and alike

Vinyl cut lettering (stickers) are cheap but smallest you can go is around 4-5 mm. Digital print can do really small and detailed but fairly expensive just for a little sticker. What dimensions are you looking at?

Ok so the same size as the oil, handbrake, a/t temp lights on the right hand side of the tacho in a GQ?

Traffolyte probably wouldn't be any good as it blocks out light.

Yep that size blocking out light is fine it will make it standout.
I like that letraset i'll see whats available locally first actually made me think about a bike i have here i want to restore the switchblocks on it needs small letters as well.
No luck with the hobby shop he reckons all of the suppliers are now gone for that sort of thing.

Even some sort of sticker i could use as a stencil then airbrush some paint on would do.

I thought it sounded like you wanted it to illuminate.
A traffolyte label that size would be $10 through work.

i just had a look at traffolyte i don't think it would work.
The bit in the cluster glows i just wanted to put the letters EGT in the center like the other logos i think they are just painted on.

Yeah that's what I thought... Traffolyte needs a background.

you could cut the traffolyte all the way through, have another piece underneith so you dont damage the bed and the light will shine through the "EGT", thats what I would do if i was doing it, then you can use what ever colour you want

Im a signwriter, i make the labels (as well as other stuff).

Thats not a bad idea. Although having the letters printed/drawn onto the plastic would have a more factory look.

having another look, i reckon the rub-on ones would be fine.
