Putting 2" lift off a gq on to a gu?

Hey all! I just got offerd a 2" suspension lift kit off a 1990 GQ patrol for a case of beer.......and I'm wondering if it would have any troubles fitting under my 1997 GU patrol? And in the near future I will fit 50mm spacers to turn it into a 3" kit.... Has anyone ever come across this befor or if yous have some advice.... Thanks all!

Yeah it will go straight in mate. Generally people fit a GU lift to a GQ as it give a little more lift. Not sure if going a GQ lift into a Gu is ideal though?

A GU is bigger and heavier and the spring rate will be a bit a bit of a mess and a little soft I reckon? You will probably end up with a 1 inch lift only
