With a voltmeter measure the voltage at the back of the alternator (engine running at a fast idle).
It's possible your brushes in the alternator could be sticking due to mud.
You can remove the alternator strip it down and check. It might just need a clean out and new bearing/s and brushes.
It's also possible you may have got water inside the external regulator for the alternator.

Have you checked this?
If the regulator has a metal cover you can remove it and try and dry it out.
