Hi
Anyone have a 12v wiring diagram for a 2 pin toggle switch, I have installed a radio in my van and want to be able to turn off the memory and save a bit off battery life when staying in places for a short time but leave the memory on via the switch if staying for long periods and not have to keep tuning in radio stations, Or do you think that minimal draw is not worth worrying about, i have 2 pin switch with Power and Acc and the normal radio wires memory (Yellow) Ignition (Red) and Ground (Black) I imagine the Yellow has to go through the switch and then back to red. Or any suggestions.

Thanks
Dave

Unless you are staying for a long time (weeks) without charging the battery, you are wasting your time. More trouble than what it is worth. The memory in the radio only draws milliamps.

You can buy memory savers from places like Jaycar .It plugs in cig socket with a 9v batty on it. Great when changing batteries as well. But is it worth it, different places different channels

really isnt worth it mate the current draw is less than 0.1 of an amp
