Well i got some goodies today in the mail.. Installed my 100w HID kit into my Hella rallye 4000, bloody bright during the day, cant wait to test them tonight Haha.. Also Fitted my second rear 27w LED worklight...
You will also notice the LED strip light, i will be mounting this inside the awning as a outside light, will be plenty bright enough :trink13:

Well i have been flat out at work so haven't had much time to get on here.. Im sure some of you may have seen the photo's from the craigs Hut trip of me under the bonnet of my troll a couple of times lol..
Story goes..
Started off Sat morning when the Engine light started randomly coming on, then the troll started overheating at the first sign of a hill, followed by running the Batteries complety flat an hour away from Camp haha.. Have since found out that i had broken the wiring off the back of the Altenator (now fixed), and the engine light was on because of a "error in communication with Injector pump".. Code and engine light have dissapeared and not come back so god only knows what happened lol..

Have also stripped the front of the car down to replace thermostat and fresh coolant, while it was apart i took the radiator in to get checked only to be told that the top tank was no good (from a hairline crack), and that the radiator was about 90-95% blocked with Crap.. This would explain the overheating which is good.. Now just gotta put everything back together and im all set for the next trip

Just finished bolting up my new Roofrack, its an ARB copy and was brand spankin new off Ebay.. Not bad for $360 and had to drive an hour or 2 to pick it up Haha
Also got sick of my bullbar lights filling up with mud and water so removed them and installed new sealed LED versions (can spot them in the last pic).. Came up an absolute treat and here is a few pics for you all

Another quick update.. Issue with the troll atm, seem to have stuffed the dual mass flywheel. Very rough idle and slip in the driveline. Had it checked and confirmed.. Looks like im up for about 2g for a new solid mass and clutch kit.. Abit annoying but thats the joys of owning a 4wd i guess Lol

Not Yet, i have only just fit it on this afternoon.. Heaps more pull after installing it though, once i get a 3" exhaust should be better again..

Quick update, ordered a 42" LED lightbar today so can't wait for that to arrive.. Also Swapped out my old 33" BFG Muddies for some new 35" Bighorns.. Pics up tomorrow but looks a lot tougher now I reckon lol..
Will be posting a for sale thread soon as wanting to get rid of the old BFGs

My new 3" exhaust, Troll goes heaps better now, exhaust temps down, heaps more power and more low down grunt.. Very Happy now, not really much extra noise, just a little more Turbo Whistle ;)

Ebay Mod..
Another Mod Finished today, Just Removed my CD Player and Installed a 7" DVD unit with TV, Bluetooth Handsfree, Ipod and Sat Nav.. Works Very Well, and as its running Windows CE i will be Installing Ozi-Explorer and Running the HEMA maps in it as well for when im out Bush.. Be interesting to see how well and Long for it Lasts

Yer one is the Ariel so i can only put the Ariel up half way.. The other is a manual override for the rear worklight as its normally off reverse..
Yer River is up at the moment, supposed to be going down in the next week they reckon

Well i havent updated in a while so thought i would get some more progress shots up.. Started a Inverter setup as managed to score a 240v 600w Pure Sine Wave inverter for next to nothing so will be putting that into rear of Troll

Everyone likes the Look of New 35's, so had some New Bighorns Fitted to the Troll today.. Should come in handy at Toolangi Meetup haha

Also added some bling and put a Yellowish/Gold Neon light under the Bonnet Scoop so at night the scoop glows from the inside.. Not 100% sure if i like it yet but its something different haha

Yer about 8 months ago i put a white 2.4m Strip inside my 2.5m awning haha.. Throws a huge amount of light out, has come in handy so many times.. Would look awesome setup with different effects.... Providing you don't have Epilepsy haha

Got the LED bullbar lights through my work, however can get them from Autobarn or Bursons.. They are made by a company called LED Autolamps and the part number is 175AW

Well instead of buying a catch can being i like to build things i decided to make one haha.. Its made from PVC pipe with caps both ends and filled with Stainless metal Scourer's.. Copied the design from a another member of an un-named forum and aparently works well.. Time will see
All up cost me about $50 and ill get 2 out of it as i will make another for my housemate TUR7LE

and ive noticed the oil level dosnt drop in the motor but the mix of diesel and oil fumes that come from the rocker
cover turn to a black oil which in turn will contaminate your nice new clean oil and you,l need to change
earlier than you thought

Yer thats a good point Roofy, ill see how it goes after a couple of thousand k's and decide then.. Might just leave it as it is for now.
Next ill be pulling the butterfly out of the Swirl valve and hopefully should help a little in the lower revs.. Then my intercooler as its leaking pretty bad now.. Time for a ASE upgrade lol
