silly one,

Just thought I would let you know I have just dealt with about time spares as per 97_gq_lwb post.

Mate ordered some stuff on Thursday for my GQ it arrived today, well packaged, prompt and fairly cheap.

So I have no hesitation recommending them as a potential parts supplier.

Have a look on egay, theres a few selling lower front guard and rear 1/4 lower replacement panels
But sometimes you can snag a rust ,dent free guard cheaper than the repair section
What exact areas you talking ???

Noone i know of makes over the counter rust repairs for the sections you mention
Its a common problem for this series to rust in the floor area and the body mounting points, not only at the radiator support panel, the mounts just under your feet , front floor ,and the mounting points just behind the front seats
Nearly every MQ/MK has rust in these sections, but theres just not enuf demand for people to tool up and make these sections
MQ/MK front floors the same, wether shorty, wagon or ute
The doubling brackets on the floor pans, underneath can be pressed up and home or self made, or you could sounce some 2nd hand sections from a wreck
The other issue youll find, although the floors look good, the factory floor deadener hides alot, once you start removing it for repairs and belting stubborn old body mount bolts you could discover more than youll like
Most floor repairs are done by just flat steel sections or from a wreck
