GU RD28t Air Filter Housing Seal

Arvo All,

Anyone know where to get the air filter housing lid seal, mine is now that hard its all cracked and pieces are missing. I'll go genuine if I have to, although the closest nissan dealer to me now is fair way outa the way for a small cheap(I hope) seal, as they dont normally post..

If its the same housing as the 3 L you can't but a genuine one from Nissan as they don't stock them. Try Rare Spares or a rubber dealer. Mine was $2.00 from Rare Spares.

I just replaced my seal with a stick on "door/ window weather seal" from Bunnings.
Rubber strip, in a roll about 3 metres long....about 12 bucks with Triple M tape on one side.
Removed the air cleaner lid, stuck the rubber strip on, cut to length then sealed it up....been on a week and working well.
