Here's a little item I found recently, some of you may already know about it. Bloke on another 4WD forum makes them for 4.2's to catch the oil when chaning oil filters. Not an essential item, but very handy. Once fitted it stays on the vehicle. Mine arrived yesterday & will go on next week. Link to other forum is here if you're interested: http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/supporting-vendors-51/chickens-td42-oil-spill-tray-72396/

It doesnt look like we will but my mum made a call to their insurance company and found out that they have guest cover on their house and contents and it looks as though its all gonna come through on that so once its all finalised we can purchase some new gear for her
