:beer:Hey Everyone,

Just signed up...getting back into the 4WD World after a break for a few years.
Done a few trips including 8 months through Africa in a '97 V8 Defender.

Looking at purchasing a Patrol in the next few months for a big 12-24 month working trip around Aus. Really looking to get some advise and do some research on what models I should consider and what to avoid.

I also would love to hear about how other people have done the big trip. I'm looking at quite a few things and trying to weigh up towing a 4x4 trailer vs a rooftop tent. Obviously there a are pro's and con's of both.

Any advise would be fantastic.
