I stumbled upon this forum whilst doing some research before recently buying a patrol. Excellent source for information and advice.

Just got hold of a 2006 3.0l auto, only had it a few days but extremely impressed (bit of an upgrade from the hilux) looking forward to doing a few mods on it.

Currently living in south west sydney but try and get out and about when possible

Hi Tim, Currently in Holsworthy, not to bad of a spot however it takes a few hours in any direction to get out of 'suburbia' and in into some of the nicer spots for camping etc

Anything is an upgrade from a hilux especially if it was a 2.4 or 2.8 diesel slug.
