Can anyone tell me what diff ratio I should have as standard in a 1990 LWB Maverick.

Can find a TAG on either end. The only marking is the LSD sticker on the rear and some codes on the banjo housing. Can see anything in the owners manual but the plate under the bonnet says HG39 I take to mean 3.9:1.

Is it missing tags ?
Another way is to mark the yoke and the wheel and rotate the yoke or tailshaft if it is a 3.9 it will rotate just under 4 times or 4.1 just over 4 times to one complete rotation of the wheel and so on.

Any chance you could take your speedo drive out of the transfer and count the teeth and post the info on this thread.

Will do but it may not be for a while. I am going to use a JayCar speedo corrector to fine tune mine.
