turbo and muffler

My 93 4.2 diesel GQ has an aftermarket turbo and when looking underneath today i noticed it still has a muffler, I've heard you dont need a muffer with a turbo and was wondering if it would run better with out one? its also got a 3inch exhaughst

Prob wont see a real gain out of removing the muffler however it will sound 100 times better

thanks champ, sound better as in meaty? i dont mind it being a little louder as long as it dosnt drone on the highway and give me a headache, thats what the wifes for lol

Brave man Ghurkin talking about the MOF on an open forum, truck will be loud, but they sound great
