2010 GU Patrol reverse sensors

Has anyone else had a problem with their reverse sensors going off all the time of not going off at all at times?

Yes I have the same sort of thing happening. I have found it maybe the tow ball doing it, (I think it is) cos I recently went 4x4ing and changed the tow ball to a recovery tow hitch with shackle and never got a single beep until getting closer.
I know have the tow ball back on and it's doing it again, solid alarm until I'm getting closer beep starts.

I have also once have it not beep at all whilst reversing until solid beep to stop, I got no getting closer beeps.
