Hi there,

As part of the vehicle import process (of an 04 GU III into Australia) I need to arrange for the air con unit to be de-gassed, and have replacement TX valve and receiver dryer fitted.

Has anyone had similar work done recently? IF so, what did it cost, and can any forum members recommend anyone in or around Port Melbourne, Vic?

Cheers,

Jezza

The parts RE around $100 on ebay and should be about the same for the degas regas surely with fitting you wouldn't expect to pay more then $300

Getting mine regassed next week. These guys say 99 bucks which is cheap http://carairconditioningmelbourne.com.au/ but i cant be bothered driving to nunawading. Getting a local guy to do it for $130 which seems average. Check with local mechanics as they get someone to come in and do it. Otherwise let me know as my local guy is mobile and might help.
