Just got my tigerz11 gear in on monday, went to mount the jack on the spare wheel today, and the bloody mount that they send you doesn't even fit the jack, the space between the holes on the jack is about 3 mill to far apart to fit on the mount, what sort of knob makes this stuff?

That's unbelievable. No wonder these guys have such low prices, they need them to compensate for their poor customer service.
That being said I've had one trouble free transaction with them, have heard a lot of negative feedback from them though. I have their high-lift and it is a good product.

Not good mate, have you called them? they might be very quick to sort it out for ya. I bought a couple of things of them and been happy but have heard a couple of shocker stories

Our awning turned up today, 4 months from order!!!!
Surprised to see velcro straps to wrap it all nice and tight when packed away, EXCEPT one of the 3 straps has no velcro!!!!! FFS
I can not be bothered ringing them, so fed up with their business practices, found a snap buckle in the shed and will put that on.
While I'm having a winge there are 2 panels about 300mm x 100mm stitched to the "bag" with Tigerz!! all over them.
That is a job for the quick unpick in the wife sewing kit.
Same with the winch cable dampener as well.
Sorry if you dont need this shizen, I needed a vent.

They are cheap, but i think next time i'll just go for reliable, and pay that bit extra, i just couldn't believe that their own mount didnt fit their own winch.. probably just run arb or tjm for the most part now. on the plus side, my rhino racks should be here within the next few days! i sent them a fairly friendly, email as i was attempting to put the jack on at dusk, and if i don't get a snappy reply tomorrow they'll be getting a not so friendly call. ugh, the frustration on my first mod! haha

Sounds like a good old chinese mistake to me mate and unfortunately no one checked it here.
QC in China is non existent and anyone importing needs to 100% CHECK EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT THAT COMES IN BEFORE YOU SEND IT OUT.
We have spent 10 years trying to perfect Chinese QC....Nightmare!!!!

Unfortunately it's not just China, our work has just taken delivery of some stainless steel enclosures from Europe and found the door hinges, earth stubs, lock cams we're just mild steel, not much use when these things have to be out in the elements. Apparently the accessories got mixed up during assembly. So all has to be shipped back to Holland while we wait for new ones to arrive...... Almost $100ks worth, all at our suppliers cost of course lol......... But not good when you've got ship loads of customers screaming for their goods

The older style Hi Lift brand has 85mm spacing I think from memory the newer TJM and apparently Tigerz has the 90mm spacing, Maybe a chinese casting, Read The PM you'll see what I mean

Had a sleep on it last night................
I have not fitted it yet, went and checked it thismorning.
Those straps are supposed to be inside the bag to hold the awning in place while the zip is done up, sent an email this morning.
Someone mentioned quality assurance or product checking at the manufacturer is lacking, so true in this case.
Keep you posted.

X2 Macca I wouldn't advertise their brand, seems a lot are being sucked in by the low prices, seems quality is not there. Save your dollars and buy from a proven brand with decent product back up. it'll last for years as apposed to lasting until you open the box. fallen for cheap prices myself from time to time find I end up modifying the product the way I think it should've been..
Awning are'nt that expensive?

A 4WD Mag now has bought into Tigerz11, and Superior Engineering has pulled all advertising from the Mag as well. I think its a bad move for the Mag but i dont think it there fault. EMG which are the publication of the Mag are after more Dollars. But the Mag is gone and has been for years, but I like the DVD's.....
I bought the Tigerz11 Awning for my truck, but yet to open the box..... I know is cheap crap but its for my Patrol which will be used for weekends..
As mentioned save the extra $ and get ARB or TJM.
The Customer service for Tigerz has been ordinary from the day dot, and people have been winging about this for a long time and the Owner doesn't care.

I just got an excellent response from the general manager, and she's sending me out a new one no questions asked.

If you have an issue with anything you purchase, sometimes it's "how" you complain that dictates how good their response will be.
If there's a problem with a product you've purchased and you contact the seller just stating that there is an issue and you'd like it replaced/repaired you'll get a lot better response than if you go in all guns a blazing.
Some companies(especially owner operators) can get pretty defensive if you come to them bagging out their product.
Also makes you look better if you have to take it further if you've tried the diplomatic approach first.

Just had the same response, I am changing my attitude to them!
The contact from their office has gone out of their way to fix this balls up.
A new awning is being sent, like you a tracking number has been generated as well.
Guessing there will be details about sending the other one back.

Its good to hear some positive feedback. I'm hoping with the new changes in the company and with a popular 4x4 mag backing them, customer service is better.
BUT, I finally opened my new awning today...mmmmmmmmm you get what you pay for. For the guys on a budget it will keep you dry. Compared to My ARB awning unfortunately it's far behind.. The bracket system is confusing and with 2 extra pieces aluminium and no instructions it could be confusing for some.
But I have myself a awing to keep me dry for weekend trips and not to phased if it gets ruined....

I've heard this a few times now with the Velcro. Mine has no Velcro at all,it has a clip that locks locks the bag together on the outside.
Love your Trailer set up mate.

New one turned up with buckle / snap clips on the outside.
Drilled the rivets out and repositioned the strap in side where it should be.
Will fit it to the pod tomorrow sometime and see what the rest of it is like.

cheers mate
i was able to relocate 2 Velcro straps inside the bag without drilling out the rivets only as they had completely missed them the 3rd one snapped as the rivet was in the centre of the strap but I’m happy with 2 straps and no logos other then these 2 issues it seems to be good I’m happy for the price
