2.8 Snorkel

Does anyone know why a snorkel for a 2.8 is so expensive, I can find ones for 4.2 at decent price but ones I want are 3 - 4 hundred. Crazy.

Second to that, does anyone know where I could get a decent price on a snorkel.

Could you get a 4.2 one and get it to work with your application? On the other hand I have a snorkel you could have for cheap.

A safari snorkel is a half length one that goes only about halfway down the guard.

It's because of the airbox in the 2.8 the snorkels are the same but the way it attaches to the 2.8 airbox is stupid.
Personally i think you would be better off with a zd30 gu airbox or one from a 2.8 import gq then you could just connect it up easily.

Yeah mine is Safari one. I remember someone commented once as to it being small and i guess they were talking about how far down the guard it goes. I guess you would need the specific 2.8 one due to the way it fits.
