does anyone know a decent mechanic in the canning vale region of perth, I have a water leak from my front of motor,water pump gasket I think and not sure if I have the expertise to tackle the problem myself, any help would be apprecaited

It depends on what motor you have, the CRD costs about 2 grand to fix.

If its the petrol engine it could just be the water pump, its design to do that to stop the bearing from seizing.
Pump is about $110+labour

Thanks very much bloodyaussie, it appears the water is coming from weephole on bottom of waterpump, managed to pick up waterpump $34 reduced from $110 due to clearance sale at a repco store, thanks again for help!! :)
