Gu4 exhaust size

Can any body tell me what the standard exhaust size is on a 3ltr GU4.
I put the calipers on mine & it has an outside diameter of 60 mm. Mu daughters 3 ltr Gus has an outside diameter of 50 mm. Did Nissan up size the exhaust on the GU4 ?

Hi is it same model, might have up sized to suit the common rail from the direct injection model????????????????????????? or maybe your's is after market

Both are DI, I don't know if it is after market or not but it looks standard.

Thats nearly a 2.5" system, thinking must be after market as some on forum upgrade to that and larger, personal choice.

Update
I managed to measure another GU4 3litre turbo with a factory exhaust & it measures 60mm aswell. Looks like Nissan have upgraded the exhust systems on the GU4.

The early GU's had exhaust with several different diameters from the factory. Not sure if the later one are the same.
I mean in the same system, they were 2 1/4" down to 2" at the belows, then 2 1/4" again then whatever through the muffler etc etc.
Did you measure both in the same area?
Also my original muffler had a 2 1/4" pipe welded to it both ends of the muffler but was only 2" through it.

I measured both at the same area, the pipe that goes over the back axle.

I have crawled around under my car & re measured all of my exhaust & have found that the only 60mm pipe is the one over the axle from the flange behind the large muffler back (see attached picture). The rest is 50mm.Bugger! Now It loks like I will have to get a larger exhaust system after all.
