Hello Everyone.
Well I’ve been either a Patrol or Nissan owner off and on now for 25 years. My first patrol was a 1976 G60 Patrol, and I loved it. A very basic, noisy and uncomfortable 4X4, apparently developed for the Indian Army. The G60 and fuel economy were not mentioned in the same sentence unless you spat on the ground and cursed. Rust in Peace.
After a 4 year flirt with a Nissan ute, I am now the owner of a 2002 GU Patrol Wagon with a ZD 30 engine. Love the wagon, the comfort, but hate the computer and all the sensors. But I guess that’s modern motoring.
I’ve enjoyed reading the many threads about extending the life of the engines, and hopefully I can put in place the same concepts with similar results.
