hi fellas i got a 12/06 gu patrol 4.2 turbo n wanna get a lil more grunt out of her it has 3'' exhaust n stock turbo how do i boost the old girl up as im no turbo machanic and it would be appreciated cheers

best thing is take it to a GOOD deisel tuner, thats what i will be doing as soon as i get my boost T controller.

Yeah mate take it a reputable tuner tell em you wanna run about 12psi and they should give you a tune that will have you grinning ear to ear. I have had both mine tuned and they are awesome both pushing 140 to 150 at the wheels. I have a mate who had his 2000 4.2 stock with 35's on tuned to 12 psi and it made 130 hp at the treads (remember its on 35's) and his standard engine had 220k odd on it.

i went to a tuner he is getting some kinda injecter pump code i think he called it and he is going over it for me in a week or so but he recommended a boost gauge n pyro metre cheers fellas

Yeah you'll need guages to set boost and let you know whats going on, every GU should have them
