G'day fellows i'm Glenn (mk ardie), just scored a Mk shorty that has a SD33 and 4 speed box (looking for a 5 speed), plan to do the old girl up for some mild 4x4ing as i like fishing in remote areas in W.A's Southwest. Will be asking lots of questions and looking for some info on modifications. Thanx guys mk ardie :icon_driving:

Hi and welcome to Nissans Nut House Glenn. You'll find % speeds attached to SD33T engines. I believe if you find an engine and box in GC, better off to swap both. Or just go straight 4.2turbo with 5 speed.

MK is a great model for it's age. I have one. The diesel MK wagons are usually SD33T.
