no tips mate, piece of cake job. Just support the engine on a jack and swap over. Have fun!

Hi Mark, just wundering were you changing the mounts because they were stuffed or were and are you getting a knocking noise on take off and slowing down. Got that gremlin in mine at the moment and its driving me mad. Was gonna change mounts to see the difference but if it made none on yours I won't bother.

Hey trickgq, Have you checked your radius arm bushes if they are cracked or worn they will give you that noise.
cheers honest

If it happens when taking off or slowing down (straight line) then I'd start with radius arm bushes (3 per arm).

The mount change didnt make much difference. I think most of the bushes underneath need doing. It pulls to the left as well. Prolly Tie rods too. Its done 400k, so I think thats only fair:)

Still got the shroud. The fan doesnt hit anything.
Upon further consideration, I think part of the problem is the stupid wood rim steering wheel the previous owner fitted. I will be getting a $50 wheel from Ebay. Neoprene/PVC and ali. Should absorb some vibes, man.
