the turbo running at 20 psi...tends to whistle when its whining up...the person who increased boost says thats normal due to the fact its running freer....any one with an opinion on that?...Cheers Eric (xcape08)

Mine petrol turbo whistles on 10lb mate - very normal as far as I'm aware ...

mine starts to wind up in 1,2,3 gear my boost is at 14 psi
and runs between 8 and 10 psi cruising along the hwy goes to 12 under load
i recon yours should be ok

as stated in the other post, it's perfectly normal :) have you ever heard a semi trailer drive past? all you hear is turbo whistle!

I would be worried if I didn't hear mine whistle, thought it was normal ?? Not sure but i Love the tunes it plays

If it sounds like a canary with its nuts caught in a vice its fine, maybe just louder than normal

It's just the design of the turbo.
How does it go ok?

Hi Robo..yeah its not bad i think it should be going much better than it is...ive got gas injection,chip ,3inch exhaust, larger intercooler,...i know the patrol is heavy ive got it always loaded up..weighing nearly 3 tones...but have issues with it im trying to solve..especially heat.

What type of chip and whats it set on, what size tyres do you run??

tyres..285x17...DP chip but its set on 1...trying to not get to much fuel, which i know defeats the purpose of having one
