Guys seeking some advice please?

I did a river crossing and banged the shock absorber thingy that connects between let and right just under the engine!

Is this a problem, it has a ding on the outer casing but do not think it will stop it from working.

Any advice on what I should do?
Can anything be done on the standard suspension of the GU patrol?

Steering dampener? Not a huge problem, noticing a difference?
It's just to make bumps and corrugated roads and stuff a bit smoother.
But if you just dinged the outer part you should have no problem.

X2 mate - if no oil leaking, and it's the outer sheath that was hit, so long as its not fouling the rest of the damper as it moves, then should be fine ...
