Just chasing info on the Unichip fuel chips.
Apparently they do 1 for the 4.8L Patrol with a plug n play harness.
Does anyone have 1 at all and can shed some light on them as in cost, are they worth getting, where from etc.

Cheers
Gino

Armadale 4wd centre might still do them, otherwise give Matt Craig a call at United Fuel Injection as I know a few years ago they were advertising them along with the Taipan exhuasts.

Have you guys done the PVA mod? Might be worth a try as a few people got better fuel economy. Didn't make too much if any difference to my fuel economy but the patrol is smoother through the gears, quite and the cruise control doesn't floor it as much as it used to. Well that's what I observed.

Below is a link to a fellow that knows a bit about the 4.8ltr engines. Check it out!! He speaks about an air/fuel ration controler.

Haven't done the PVA mod as yet as I read mixed reports on it and it may not work on the 09 model, apparently earlier models ie 06 it had some benefit.

Ive read about a piggy back system off the ECU but not to keen on it. Have alreadt put a 3" system on but havent really noticed much change, asides from a dyno tune and a turbo (no coin at this stage) i am outta ideas
