so i went and looked at a 97 st coil cab ute today its a 4.2 desiel, got 208,000km's on the clock, clean as hell interior, 2 inch peders lift with air bag support in the rear coils, damper, caster bushes
...but it has a dint in the passenger door, guard and sill
now i can get it with a new door n guard in the same colour for roughly 7g
but the sill is smacked up from the front all the way into the bottom of the rear pillar only a little in the pillar, its not bad at all n very fixable proly $1500 to fix with a new sill and the little bit of the pillar pulled out n i could get it on the road for probably 10g all up
mechanically its close to perfect n im very tempted
im on my phone but il upload pics of the damage tomorow
ur opinions are appreciated :)

low k's for a Q and being a diesel you cant go wrong if he is gonna supply panels for repair and it has a roadworthy it would be a good buy. Just do a v-check on it to make sure the k's are correct and all is well.

I bet the ks are fake for sure fella. Pretty easy to wind them back. Does the odometer even work? Often they work for a few hundred then stop for a few thousand ;)

The sill damage is not that big a deal, a panel shop could sort it pretty cheap. Just put some rock sliders on it and off you go.

Great price mate even if the ks are out by 150,000 (I bet they are) it is still a really good buy.

go for it! just make sure it has a good service history. If it does it will last forever. Anyway the condition of the car will usally tell if you are making a good buy.

well iv been busy chasing around trying to make sure i can make it work
so i havnt got round to uploading pics
it comes as is hence no roady because of the damage
on the other hand the k's are for real and its been taken care of
im just chasing a second hand set off 33's as im not sure wether the tyres on it will pass a roady
but apart fron the damage and the tyres it should pass no worries i had a mechanic have a quick look over it n he agrees its a good buy
im just in the process of arranging money and you should hopefuly all see pics of it up soon
before n after it gets fixed and il b the proud owner of my first patrol :)
