Do I need reduction gears?

Hi guy's, was thinking about getting a set of 35 inch mud tyres for the gq for fun days and keeping the old 31's (one day 33's) for road and sand. My question is do I need to get a set of reduction gears to aid when doing the steep stuff? Does anyone else have a big set of tyres they keep just for fun and how does the car perform?

I would go reductions mate, my td42 Q on 33's can stall in real steep stuff if ya dont keep the right boot heavy, which sometimes isnt really waht ya want, theyre on my wish list for sure!!!
