G'day Brisvegas, no, I have a GQ - I typed coolant ZD30 into the search block and got heaps of hits - and I remember it being discussed on here, including different ways to repair.

hopefully either your search will reveal the answer, or someone with direct experience will be along with the info you need, Brisvegas.

G'day Brisvegas,

I had mine done about a month ago. Total cost was around $2700. First mechanic I saw said that it would be engine out and $4,500. Second mechanic had done a few before and did it with engine in. There is another good thread on her somewhere with all the info. I'd be interested to know how many k's are on your CRD. Mine started leaking at 80 thou.

My 2008 DX patrol ute has just started to leak coolant, comming down from around the alternater. mine is at 110 000 kms. what a lemon of an engine. my old HZJ ute even got better fuel economy. I will definately be spending the extra and going back to toyota.
