Hello guys,

its great to have subscribed to this forum...there seems to be a lot of interesting discussions going on.

My name is Karel, Im at studying in the uk but I have lived a couple of years in Malaysia previously where I have taken part in the Malaysia Rainforest Challenge... Together with my father, we had a hard core modified Jeep Cherokee (air lockers, 35" simex, worn winch etc.). Now we are back to Europe and we got ourselves Patrol!!!

Thanks for the intro Karel, gotta friendly mob here fulla great info and advice. Youll love your patrol im sure. i had a cherokee (xj) was great in the power to weight ratio, pity about the weak rear diff!!

Hello fellas, thanks for the messages ;)

Yeah the XJs rear diff was a pain the whole time, we had a diff lock put in from China which worked well but it needed spacers (i.e. shims i guess they r called) from each side of the diff to fit as it was too small...

Anyway I am starting to like our (me and my dad) Patrol even better now... Im hoping to put up sm pictures of it asap.
