the bars on the vehicles of the boys in black look like the old MQ shorty alloy bars I used to see around the place - lots and lots of clearance between the bar and radiator :-)

They have them like that so that they can use them as an assult platform

or fit a massive pto winch in there possibly even carry a landcruiser in there so it dont get stuck in a bog rather then pulling it out later.

Mainly for assaults and for driving through walls when / if reqd also for storming walls and windows. Uncomfortably trying to hang on with gear and deploy at 80kmph lol

Thats about right :) That's our SAS boys on a training exercise.

Same rigs were used for our TRG boys in blue as well, there original training for the first few years was done by SAS

There was Gq over here all kitted up with the same bar work for sale a few months back..... seen a couple while out and about too, the look very sinister lol

The bar work look very cool nad i wouldnt mind doing some of it with my GU, but i ont like the bullbar being so far out for normal driving , how long do you think it would be before the cops pulled you over if you were driving around like that
