Clutch pedal gets heavy GU2.8

Hi guys. Just a quick one.
1998 GU 2.8
After sitting for a very short amount of time, the clutch pedal is very heavy to press, no vacuum left at all to assist the pedal. Does anyone have some advice on a fix? Or is this normal?

As far as I know it's normal. Mine does it too when leaving it over night and I just had gear box serviced. That's my only reasoning for it being normal. I could be wrong
