Hey guys, have a small problem that is irritating me, when I turn left or right in the static position I get a single clunk noise from one side and then a single clunk noise from the opposing side when I turn back, it no way near as noisy when I turn while driving, have found some similar posts that may have suggested steering bushes but want to make sure before I replace them, and if so, how much does it normally cost to replace them in the perth area, cheers

My wife had a similar clunk when turning and ended up requiring a near left hand front shocker, got it changed and all good now.
But you may have a different problem

You can check bushes by levering them with a large flat tip screw driver and watching them flex.
Forcing the bush to flex slightly between its mating components.
A good bush will flex and return using the elastic in the rubber. A bad bush will slide, clunk or allow movement between the mating components. Or movement can show a mount or bolt etc damaged, worn or broken.
Check the panhard rod bushes.
These can be checked by rocking the steering from side to side briskly while feeling / looking at the mating surfaces.
Look at the lower control arm bushes that support your final drive (front diff assembly) and the ones that mount to the chassis
Check steering box mounts
Check shocky mounts as previously written.
Check ball joints on the drag link and the tie rod.
Check steering damper
Gripping the tie rod end with a gentle fist, so that one part of your hand is touching one surface, and the other part of your hand is touching the other, makes it easy to find movement.

A good look around first with someone wabbling the steering or rocking the car etc can make finding something quick and more simple.
Let us know how you go.
