Gu 2.8 white smoke issues

Hi all i have a 1999 gu with 2.8td intercooled suddenly started running rough and blowing large amounts of white smoke
the engine was up to normal temp
i have now checked the glow plugs
re conditioned the injector
But the result is the same some one please help
