Gday
Great forum, i have a 2005 patrol and just recently i have been getting a wobble in the steering wheel. Already replaced steering damper but i am thinking maybe a wheel bearing as front right has a lot of play in it.

Hi and welcome to nissan nut house. Front end wobbles can be caused by many things.

Buckled rim, unbalanced wheel, bad shocky, worn steering bearing spacers, worn shackle rubbers(leaf spring), just too name the majors.

Steering dampener will lessen the effect but doesn't fix the cause.

Welcome to forum Litrecar7.
Only a freshman myself, but there is a S*** load of useful reading on forum.
Have a 98 GU which had the same problem at 90Ks. Got new tyres (only because i needed them) and the wobble was then at 70Ks.
Took it back and they re balanced the wheels as the trol threw its weights.
Was great for 3 days then came back again so got it balanced again with stick on weights.
Problem solvered. hope this helps.

Cheers Pete.
