i'm starting to feel bad for posting so many cars, but i thought this was a nice looking one, i sent him an enquiry asking what would be needed for a roadworthy, is anybody down this way?
Cheers, Brendan.

That one looks good mate if the k's are genuine...

Interesting it comes with a RWC but has a 4" lift put in. Looks neat and worth a call for sure!!!

Just realized I've already enquired about that second one, something about in need of a quick sale and it's with his brother in WA

Okay, so i called that first guy today, no logbook in it, says it was 6 years old when he bought it and it didn't have the logbook in it then, so there's no history. its been used for a few caravan trips, and theres about a 10c piece of rust near one of the rear windows. i've heard bad things about rear window rust.. Thoughts?

Yep, a lot of GQ's have rust on the rear side windows. Water leaks in the sliding windows and pools on the frame.

A lot of people take them out and replace with solid. Or you can cheap out like I did and silicone it up shut and remove any rust.

the very first post in this thread, that one. How hard is it to remove rust? i've never done it before, also i'm a bit sketchy on no logbook history. anybody down near him? :p

Depends how deep the rust has gotten in.

Sounds like a 10 cent piece rust bubble which would most likely need to be taken right out. Only one way to find out how deep It's gone mate...lol.....Easy job too, don't stress!
