I run Philips +100's and they are the ducks guts, better than HID low beam actually.

I was using Narva +50's pretty good but they don't seem to last all that long. So decided to chnage brand and rating.

I would assume a Philips V Narva +100 the output will be similar but can't comment on the respective longevity other than the Philips I have now have definitely outlasted the prev Narva sets

I've got standard headlight globes and I'm sure a fully charged torch would push out better light. lol - not

Let me get this right. For brighter lights, all I need to do is to change the globes, not the whole thing? No need to illegally change to HID?

Next question....are the 100+ globes fully, 100%, unconditionally, legal?

Yes, they are 100% legal and there is know changes req to the standard loom, and are safe to use with all head lights.
Narva have even got a plus 120 now. They are $85.00 at supercrap.

Those are the type (or style if you prefer) of the bulb mounting and filament design. H4 is a reasonably standard headlight style but later vehicles are moving to more exotic types... H3 is common in many spotties

Sorta like Bayonet versus Edison style light globes at home

Another vote for the Phillips +100's. Found the same probs as ET with the Narva's giving up the ghost too quickly.

Just do it Ross! Lol!!

Hey ET, Ive been looking for some Phillips +100 globes to buy (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/180891081111?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649)

and i keep coming across these phillips h4 "Rally Essential" halogen globes (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110720666754?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649) which seem a little cheaper.

Do you know what the difference is? All i can see is the normal globes are legal for on road use while the "rally essential" ones are not plastic lens compatible and illegal on road. But they both claim to be the same +100 brightness.

Cheers
