Wagon? Guard chop yes. Body lift will help but you may still have to remove material from your guards. You could get em under with a 4" lift and some guard chopping, bump stops mods etc. You will be wanting to run 4.6 diff ratios and low range reduction gears so your engine can turn them

yeah its possible im putting some on my ute but being a ute a have less panels to worry about. 37's is prob the limit for minimal body work to fit them any larger and you will be taking large amounts of your guard out.

sweet :D i decided im gonna keep the RB30....get another rb30 engine....clean it right up..turbo it..swap that with whats in mine atm....then i have a spare to fix up too so i always got a spare motor ready to go in if the engine shit itself .. and yeah started building it up..first on the list is new bullbar and winch...then tyres by chrissy hopefully..just 33's for now and slowly built it up what i hope as a final product....
1991 GQ RB30 turbo, either (5" coils 6"shocks) or 4" sus lift and 2" body lift 37's, F+R lockers, fridge, dual batteries, rock sliders, spotties :D :D :D :D :D
2 year build up plan...could come off earlier though.

Throw some reduction gears onto that list to if your planning on 37's and she will be all sweet.

I would consider stright gas ( ras research) & a turbo.
Make sure you get a series 2 donk for the turbo upgrade

i used to have a ford on gas and it gave me absolutely nothing but trouble...so i sorta wanna stay clear of gas if i can.... but i know like most things there are bad ones and good ones so much of the muchness really...

Buy an old vl commodore for the motor fuel pumps and computer my sister has one for sale for 700 I think. the efi will give you more power and better on hills and angles plust the bottom end is good for 10 psi of boost no mods with an intercooler on it and you have the whole wiring loom and that when you buy the whole car too just my 2 cents for such a project then you get your cash back buy wrecking the car 100 for diff 100 for gearbox etc cheaper and more reliable than the carby model

Much of muchness really both will be similar hieghts once everything settles just do your suspension and use the dollars for the body lift on something else. I have a 2" body lift in my GQ ute with a 5" spring lift and with the standard ams the 35's touched the front guard. I have superior arms in it now and they are fine but i think it will be very close when i get 37's. The front i dont think will be to bad it will be the rear of the wagon that will scrub.
