Ugly alright...LOLOLOL.

Lots of K's on it as well and I would say towing k's as it has a stiffer suspension and air bag upgrade. the old girl might be getting tired mate.

He just called me then, doesn't have full service history, but he said it drives a beauty at 120, and has only been used to tow a horse float. Thoughts?
and that bar is probably going to be off before i leave brisbane if i get it haha.

The bar looks like it is off something else, seen an old patrol with a Hi-Mount behind a bar that far forward

Keep looking mate, way too many k's to start off with....It'll come one day, don't be impatient and get something you'll regret. Took me about a year to find mine!!!

Brendan56
11th June 2012, 06:46 PM
I've been considering grabbing up a nice 2.8td, since i don't need it for any sort of towing.

true mate wow thats awsome i only paid 5k for it :D it was the rust that dropped the price swapped my el fairmont ghia for it straight swap only issue in 3 years that stopped it from running was the alternator 480 for a rebuild or 800 brand new went for rebuild :p

That Safari would of been a steal mate. I know It's auto and I'm the same as you loving the manuals but it was damn neat, TD42, serious low km's...If I had a money tree I would grab it!!!

Brendan56
11th June 2012, 07:33 PM
I know, i was so tempted! But everybody's always saying don't do something you'll regret, and i think i'd regret the auto.

hey mate check boost classifieds as well. it has a few patrols on there. I was looking for a while and recently bought a diesel gq off ebay from bris without looking at it. Turned out good but has over 400k's on it. Still happy though. But yeah boost might have some good deals. There are a few companies that will transport an unreg car from bris to cairsn for $800 so it would be less for tville.

Go for the second one there if the number plate is suggesting it's top speed...............
