Cheers mate. I hate the over bumper style bull bar. It weighed a fair bit too. Just realized input the wrong price in. Was only $200 so i was stoked. I wouldn't buy that style new, but thought it was reasonable for the price.

Nice starting point there Jamo.
Well i have to say mate, we see allot of folks come here for the Manuals and they post up junk all over the forum chasing the 25 post count, they drag crap from the back of the forum and put in 3 words per post as a contribution. I see Growlers was on you early and i congratulate you on thinking outside the square and putting 20 posts into your own Members Ride Thread ;) Nice work mate, that will do fine.
Welcome to the forum, feel free to hang around mate.

Gearbox is out, release bearing locked solid.
Will put a full clutch in I think. What brands are the best?
Also need a new rubber boot for the clutch fork.

I'm very suprised Darren ( MudrunnerTD ) didn't say anything,
Mate, chuck out that snatch of yours and buy yourself a new one. That's just asking for trouble.
You got a pic of the tent set up on the camping trailer?
Cheers

As for the snatch strap, we mainly use it for towing vehicles home on the asphalt hence why it's so frayed.
One trip we had not other option but to tow home with this snatch (it was new then)
Since then I have a brand new one used for recoveries, and this one for towing trucks home on the roads.

Yeah seems to work well. Quick set up and pack up. Set it up on the weekend to make sure I was all still dry, and it was still dry!
I bought it from north east qld on eBay.

Got the gearbox back in. Patrol moves under its own power an no squealing release bearing. Put a excedy safari clutch in at home in the shed.
