How long for the CRD Patrol ?

If looked after with regular log book servicing, and clean fuel. Would one expect the CRD to last up to 400,000 kms, with no major problems, like injector, fuel pump, fuel rail, or turbo rebuilds ?

What extra fuel filtering is required / recomended ?

Would be nice, wouldn't it..... You might be lucky but my feeling is these new diesels are designed to develop huge power and torque sacrificing longativity. But with a lot of TLC, you never know how many km's you get out of it.
Look at the TD42, its a slug but will get there eventually and probably pick up the 3l or two on the way :)


Mind you I love the CRD and wouldn't have any different
