GU Y61 Is it a GU7 or a GU8

I'm not sure there's any difference between the two, but my GU is a Nov 11 build and Jan 12 compliance. Is it a GU7 or an 8, and is there a difference?

If you have a rear difflock and VDS(stability control) as standard itsa GU8 otherwise it will be GU7

Thanks Nisshead that tells me there is a difference - maybe I bought a month or two early. I hope it didn't have a rear diff lock, I paid ARB to put one in LOL

Yeah there were only 2 main changes
rear locker
VDS

and a couple of cosmetic ones
chrome ring around the gauges in the instrument cluster
there is no aerial at the front anymore...they moved it to a rear side window.

Looks like you might have bought a month early
