Hello,
I am new to the forum and new to Nissan Diesels. I am retired and enjoy tinkering with the old style (No computers) engines.
Recently, I bought a SD33 out of a 86 Nissan Patrol, I was thinking of putting it in an old Land Rover, but it is too large.
I was looking for the timing mark on the front crank pulley and there are 4 timing marks: one has no label, I assume this is TDC, the others are marked 16, 25 and 43.
On a clock face with TDC mark at 12 o'clock, the 25 mark is at 4 o'clock, the 43 mark is at 7 and the 16 mark is at 11:30. Hope that makes sense. Cel phone photo,

I have not found any info in the Service Manual or searching various forums.
Does anyone know the use of these timing marks? TDC's use is covered in the manual.
