Hi All.

Driving home today the sub, brake and battery lights all illuminated and are now on constantly. I've read on the forum about the sub light and bad earth. Is it the same for this problem or something completely different?

You more then likely have a problem with your alternator.

If the alternator is not charging it will bring on these lights.

X2... classic symptoms of a shot alternator.

Won't be anything to do with the sub earthing

Put a multimeter on the battery with the engine running and I betcha the voltage is down below 12.5ish

^^^^^ agree with above, sounds like your altenator had died.. Check bat voltage, when running should be between 13.5 and 14.4ish

If the alternator is not charging have a look at the wiring at the top back of the alternator.

There is a two pin plug that connects to the alternator and it's not uncommon for these wires to break off the plug.
