Mine at the moment, thinking of a roll bar that i can still use the canopy with since I need the back seat for the kids, and maybe we can use her for a spot lighting rig too :)

Yup that looks cool. Roll bar and a soft top would be awesome

bit of a pain securing firearms in a soft top. Not impossible - just lock the cases to the vehicle. And not relevant if they aren't actually being transported.

Your Patrol is looking vastly different Michelle, well done!

yes Meakinelli, all of the mid wheel base MQ/MK 160/260 have removable roofs

only problem with removing them, is getting them to seal again if you put the roof back on, apart from that, yes you can remove the roof on yours

Excellent news! Next may ill whip it off and worry about sealing it in October! Will look into the spare parts required for the job. Thanks again

there is a rubber seal that sits between the canopy and the body
if you remove the canopy, that rubber seal will be cactus
just replace the rubber strip, and dont loose the bolts over summer, and you will be ok for winter

is your canopy / roof fiberglass or steel?

Lol. It runs as hot as it sounds. If I could have my MK shorty back the way I sold it 20 years ago, I would swap my GU for it any day.

I didn't have many pics on my MK unfortunately. Please excuse the poor picture quality too. It was pre digital days...
