lift pump

hi guys,

am about to embark on changing fuel injection pimp on a Td 4.2 diesel.
Was wondering if there is any helpful advice out there

Make sure you get her bang on No.1 TDC and get the correct tooling for timing the pump as well (dial indicator and tool to mount it to pump) apart from that is a pretty basic swap. And before you remove anything especially your fuel system make sure the entire area is absolutely clean and cap off/ block off any open fittings hoses etc.
