The last kit by Dobinson is the winner mate otherwise the Suspension stuff kit is a good price. I'd steer clear of the Blupac as just another Chinese junk brand like Ironman, probably made in the same factory.

I'm running blupac kit the shocks are blupac and the springs are lovells I really don't mind them in my opinion people have gotta try new brands to see what they are like other than just saying stick to the popular brands because everybody has them I'll let ya know how they go in a few months

thanks healy need a some one its nice to have some one being a little more positive about the brands but I sure for a extreme 4x4 point of view MudRunnerTD is talking from a lot of experience but the a super cheap sock set up is what I'm looking for cos I only need it to work for a year and I wont be doing much or any proper 4x4ing till I get my 2nd p's and a better job then I'll go all out and get a big 4"-7" until then i'll props just do some miner mods can't wait though

I think that's the brake proportioning valve. Changes the amount of rear braking depending on the weight in the rear of the vehicle.....more weight = more breaking

But mate if your fair dinkum that you just want it to last 12 months and you just want a more comfortable ride then think about replacing parts of the lift. I'd start with the rear Shocks first then the rear springs. Forget the front to start with, most of your problem will be at the back and just the shocks may well be enough to sort it out for you.

There is nothing worse than driving around a 1 ton ute empty!!! put a little weight in her and its sweet. All in the back though ;)

You'd get a pair of rear shocks for a couple of hundred at worst. Probably $100 for a second hand pair to see you through.

You could try a little test to see if it's the shocks or springs that are too stiff.

park on level flat ground, bounce rear end by standing on tow bar. Disconnect one end of the shocks and bounce again. Take notice of difference. This will tell you if the shocks are too heavy duty. Good chance they are. Repeat at front end if you want further verification.

You may get away with just replacing shocks.

thanks mudrunnerTD you are right I will get sick of 2" real quick but it's should be good enough to learn the basics then I'll go all out and nuts push the like line of losing control

hahaha rip'n'shred I feel really dumb for not think about testing it thanks mate!!! :coffeetime:

yeh the springs front and back are hard as the shocks as well there are a lot of things that were properly on the car of awesomeness when the suspension was installed that isn't installed now such as a wintch well I did buy her at a car yard!!!

janek8me
8th June 2012, 10:07 PM
well the suspension is tested I need to f##k it right off and also go to the wreckers and fix her up a little the bull bar gave in cos some idiot before I owned her they tried to fit a winch to the :furious::furious::furious:ALLOY BULLBAR AND CUT A HUGE CHUNK OUT OF IT:furious::furious::furious: and the chunk they cut out was probably one of the most important parts of the bully

all right now to try and fix this mess any suggestions on a new bullbar and what sould I look out for body panel wise????

and I'm just going to go and get a 4" $3000 -$4000 lift kit
