Gq confusion

Hi all
i am a bit confused about the 2.8 turbo engine in the GQ, is there 2 differnt series
mine has a full lenght cover and PCV valve mounted frontside of tappet cover
yet i see pics of a 2.8 thats has like shorter tappet cover etc??

One has a vac pump on top of the rocker cover and one has it in the alternator.
