This one is a curly one but i will throw it out there anyways hope someone has an anwser for me.

this morning i left a different way and got the same virbration/nock at another intersection about the same distance from home but turning left.

did it a coiuple of times after being up on host before but went away and has not done it for ages now its done it every day for the last week and a bit really doing my head in as there is nothing i can see!!!

any sugestions any help with this would welcomed hugly welcome!!!

avoid those two roundabouts Adrian :-) Semi tongue in cheek, but.... there is a stretch of the Bruce Hwy just Sth of Dohle's Rocks Road that upsets Silver's suspension every time. And it happens no-where else.

What follows is pure speculation because I have never seen this particular problem before.

Some tyres set with a flat spot overnight, that goes in and out of phase around corners until they warm up - but you'd be feeling that closer to home I think.

I wonder if the diff oil is reaching a certain temp, after cooling more overnight because it is a bit chilly now, and interacting with the slippery diff?

Dunno, really, but wish you luck!

Sounds very much like the limit slip possibly the low oil or wrong oil . Ouly guessing but a change of diff oil would a good and cheap place to start.

while changing oil make sure you check for metal fragments in the oil and on the bung,
you get flats on bias ply tyres but you would feel it straight away till they warmed up

according to the factory manual, for LSDs

API GL-5, SAE 140 and 10% volume of L.S.D. friction modifier (Part No.: 38469-C6000) or equivalent.

I just buy the oil with the friction modifier in it - I think the Castrol product is called Limslip or something like it.

I think I will be changing the diff oil front & rear based on Thirsty's comment, Hekarewe, that seal that keeps leaking, check the breather hose on the front, if it is blocked it will force diff oil past the seal due to pressure build-up in the housing.

That tree your referring to gave me grief on the weekend, I hit it 3 times trying to get past it, buggered the roof rack, finally got winched up about 2m & started climbing again, picked a line & went for it, didnt know there was a rock shelf in front of me on the left & it threw the front into an embankment on the right & smashed the front gaurd into a rock sticking out of it, gently push the door into the same rock but the rear was thrown into it & smashed the rear quarter, hit another shelf & lost momentum, gassed it again only to hit the rear quarter again on the same rock to get up, the RHS of 'Morton' is a little bruised now lol but a great weekend, I am learning to drive this thing more each time, it is a weapon
